Purpose: The Horticulture & Gardening Advisory Board supports the Horticulture & Gardening Certificate Program in mentoring and igniting students to create better ecological and environmental futures. By providing expert advice on workforce needs, and new and emerging areas of the industry, the advisory board works to ensure that students earning the Horticulture & Gardening Certificate are prepared to enter the workforce with productive competencies.
Role: The advisory board’s role is to provide subject area expertise to augment the knowledge, understanding and strategic thinking of the Program’s administration and instructor corps.
