Plants for the Landscape Specialization is designed to give individuals extensive plant identification skills. The specialization covers approximately 400 plants plus gives students information on plant cultural requirements and best uses for plants. This program focuses on plants that do well and are readily available in southern California as well as California natives.
If you are looking to advance you career in the landscape or design fields or you are looking to start your own business, this specialization will provide you the ability to discuss, design and maintain plants. This program is also a great refresher for individuals who feel they need to learn current plant material available in today’s market.
